Flame Reiki was found/discovered when Ivy Moore was
meditating upon Kwan Yin (Quan Yin) and wishing to
develop better healing skills using Reiki.
Ivy received
approximately forty symbols for this purpose and called this form of
Reiki VIOLET FLAME which is dedicated to Lady Kwan Yin and
which also connects with the loving energy of St. Germaine.

The Violet Flame
is the essence of one of the "seven rays". As sunlight when
passing through a prism or crystal refracts into seven colors of the
rainbow, Spiritual Light manifest as seven rays. Each ray has
a specific color, frequency and quality of consciousness. The
Violet ray is known as the seventh ray and when you invoke it in the
name of the Divine Source, it descends as a bean of spiritual energy
and bursts into a Spiritual flame in your heart as the qualities of
mercy, forgiveness, justice, freedom and transmutation - all are
qualities of Lady Kwan Yin.
Saint Germaine (of
the Violet Flame) is known as the Lord of the Seventh Ray.
