What is the Student Discount Program?

The student discount program is a way for students to save money when they find that they are drawn to more than one or two classes/programs.

For a small fee for either 3 months, 6 months, 9 months or 1 year - the members of this program receive :

• a  20% discount on most regularly priced classes and or packages (the discount does NOT apply to shipping) & a 10% discount offered above any other discount or special pricing (for instance the monthly Newsletter subscriber discounts or the PACKAGES) - except as noted immediately below

•  There are a few exceptions for which students receive a 10% or 5% discount and there are a very few classes which do not apply to the program at all.  There is a list of those classes provided here. 

• Discount pricing DOES apply to "live" classes and/or most events and conferences - see individual events for information

• Discount pricing does NOT apply to ANY Teacher Level classes

During the term of your membership, you will receive the discounts on all applicable classes, conferences and special events.  

For those students who want to take multiple classes the savings can be enormous and the cost of the membership program can be recouped very quickly - for instance:

Once I've joined the program - how does it work?

You will immediately have access to the secure Student Discount Member Only pages (coming soon - no later than November 1, 2007) which are updated frequently and which contain information for free offers, advance notice of classes, free online classes , free meditation conferences  and much, much, more.

AND you will receive discounted pricing on classes/programs:

• October 10, 2007 - we are working hard to upgrade all the pages to reflect discounted pricing once you have logged on as a Student Discount Program Member.  We expect this entire program to be automated by no later than December 1, 2007, if not before..

• when this is implemented you will automatically receive the applicable discounted pricing for each course as well as a personalized message to you on each page with the applicable discount percentage

• MEANWHILE - Once you have selected a class or classes which you want to take you

  • either pay for the classes via the shopping cart and as soon as the payment is received we will refund the discount amount

  or

  • send email to membership - listing all the classes which you want to take (including any options available with each of them). We will then respond with a discounted amount for your selections via email and invoice for the discounted purchases. You will receive the membership email when you register for this membership program!

This program is available ONLY to members, so you will always need to logon (using the membership logon information which you provided when you registered AND remember that cookies MUST be enabled on your machine for the security system to function properly) to obtain discounted pricing and access to all the special offers, etc. on the Student Discount Program Members page.

Your membership will be in effect from the day you joined until the last day of the time frame for membership which you selected. 

BUT, I just purchased several classes

NOTE - the information and offer immediately below expire on December 1, 2007.

Members of this program who have purchased classes after September 1, 2007 and before November 1, 2007 - WHICH WERE NOT DISCOUNTED - are eligible to receive a ONE TIME ONLY rebate voucher for 10% of the total price of the discount eligible classes purchases during the above period. 

This voucher is good ONLY toward 50% off any class or program - as per the examples below.

The voucher for your eligible purchases is for $45

the class you want to take costs $45

the voucher can be used for ONLY 1/2 of the cost of the class

after this purchase ($22.50 from the voucher and $22.50 in cash/credit card, etc.)

the voucher will have $22.50 remaining for use

You have purchased $125 in eligible classes during the date period above.

 You would receive a one time only 10% rebate of $12.50 which could be applied toward 50% of the cost of any class or program.

Why do I have logon and password information for this service?

You have the logon and password information so that you can access the members only page which contains substantial additional information. Additionally to receive the discounted pricing on all pages as this feature is implemented you MUST have logged on.
