 Medicine
Reiki is a powerful blend of traditional Usui Reiki and the ancient,
traditional medicine energies of the Americas which are associated
with Native Americans/First Nations people - such as Bear,
Grandmother Moon, Drum and Fire.
Individuals who are
initiated/attuned to Medicine Reiki often experience the assistance
of the Medicine Spirits immediately and they often report contact
with totem animals and guides during the first attunement or soon
thereafter.
K'sitew, a Usui Reiki Master is
founder of Medicine Reiki and began receiving information regarding
it in the fall of 1999 while in Europe giving Usui Reiki workshops.
The information continued to "come in" and in 2001 K'sitew was led
to begin to include Medicine Reiki attunements during all Usui Reiki
workshops.
Medicine Reiki does not operate in
"higher" energy bands/frequencies than tradition Reiki energy -
rather it provides a much broader range of energies at considerably
higher amplitudes which deepens the energies of traditional Usui
Reiki. Additionally, Usui Reiki deepens the range of medicine
energies. This blending allows both energies to penetrate far
beyond the physical with greater ease.
The contribution of the Medicine
energies lies in the breadth of new energies which are available as
an attuned recipient accessed the energy/spirit of the bear, eagle,
wind, water, fire, earth, trees, grass, Father Sun and Mother Earth,
Grandmother Moon, etc. Additionally it also assists the speed
at which healing can occur.
