- due to perceptions of an uncivilized rebel or "cowboy" nature - Dos
Rios Reiki is a gentle therapy that blossomed out of work done with
AIDS patients in the American Southwest.
Dos Rios (meaning two rivers in
Spanish) Reiki is used by touching only the head and feet of the
patient and blends Buddhism with Chi Kung.
Dos Rios Reiki makes use of one
of the Tibetan Medicine Buddha mantras during sessions.
Additionally, there are 3 energy centers used to balance the energy
rather than the more traditional chakra system.
There are three levels in this
system. The manual includes all 3 levels as well as much other
information including Spiritual practices which are simpley to learn
and are extremely valuable for self-growth.
